24 year old male artist Miami Kaos, is one of the biggest names in mixtape cover design among DJ’s and graphic designers. MK is best known for his signature photorealistic painting style, which is kept secret, despite the 100 of question topics across art forums asking how to achieve this style. I first saw MK’s work back in 2007 on a DJ Trigga mixtape (Jay-Z Vs. Lil Wayne), the cover artwork was a manipulation of Jay Z knocking Lil Wayne in the side of the face, having no idea who the DJ was, and not really caring too much about Jay’s or Wayne’s music, the artwork convinced me to download the mixtape. Well recently I came in contact with MK, after he twittered a article on GrahamPhisher.com, which led to this interview, enjoy.

GrahamPhisher: Andrew Hart a 20 year old addicted to his work living in California better known on the web as “Dirt2″ for the fonts he published such as “SoulTaker” and “AristotlePunk”. Unlike many other designers Andrew does not strive for simplicity, in fact he does the exact opposite, for most people this would result in a complete cluttered mess, but not for Dirt2, just his website “Dirt2.com” is proof of this. Well everyone welcome to Graham Phisher dot com’s second interview, you may of remembered the last one with Addicted 2 Art, but now we got a new one. With, who I would consider very professional at designing skateboard decks, wheels, album covers, and logos, Kirk Shelton. I ran across him through DaFont dot com, and checked out his portfolio, instantly impressed with his work, emailed him, and talked about doing a interview for the site, and that’s what we exactly did.
