Here’s my first blank skate deck PSD set which includes 3 styles, Comp Deck, Mini Deck, and OldSchool Deck/Long Board. All decks are very easy to edit, to insert your design simply open up your design file in photoshop, than resize it to fit the size of the deck template you opened, drag and drop your design into the layer called “Your Design Goes Here”, than right click the base layer (the second layer from the bottom), than select your design layer, and choose the lasso tool and right click the template and click select inverse, than hit delete, and your design is on the deck template. Once again this template is 100% free and you can use it for whatever. You can download Skateboard PSDs at the following link.

Hi, this template is really cool – thanx very much – and the designs you have on them are insane. I’ve just started on GIMP and although your instructions for PS is simple – I have no idea how to do it on GIMP. Any help will be much appreciated – and I’ve been trying for hours (Simply got to use this template).

Hey I have CS4 for the Mac and I’m doing the option click (right click) on the template after i’ve selected both the base layer and the my design layer and it doesn’t give me an option for inverse so I can get the final outcome. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks so much for the skateboard template! I really needed it for my final project. I’ve been searching forever for a template that I could download for free! This really helps.
And the designs you got on here are pretty sick. I like ‘em. I can see them as actual skateboard designs!

Chris,
Try this:
1. Place graphics on “Your Design Goes Here” layer
2. Left click Layer 3
3. Select Magic Wand Tool
4. Left Click Skateboard image
5. Go to SELECT > INVERSE
6. Left click “Your Design Goes Here” Layer
7. Press Delete
